Live Bar, May 24 news the Lakers held a season summary press conference today, Schroeder attended and accepted the media interview.
Schroeder talked about the team’s performance this season: “I hope to do the right thing. Obviously, our team did it. We played a wonderful season with a 0.3 percent playoff probability. Pelinka made a deal before the trade deadline and introduced three or four excellent players here, so we turned the situation around. We beat the Grizzlies and Warriors in the playoffs. Although we lost to the Nuggets, they were very strong. We did our best and I did my best. I think this is a very good season.”
When talking about himself, Schroeder said, “Ham knew my strength. When I went to the eagle in the draft at the age of eighteen or nine, he was my assistant coach. He knew what I could bring to the team, what I think of the team and teammates is why he asked me to join here. To some extent, I lead the team, get along with each other in the dressing room and compete fully on the court. I think this is what I bring to the team. There are many competitive people in our dressing room, which is the reason for our success. I didn’t miss the game and tried my best to help this team with 110 percent of my efforts.”
